Please note that the currency pair TRY/JPY is hovering at all-time lows currently and the market is expected to be unstable due to economic events. The opening rate on Monday may deviate significantly from the weekend’s closing rate. Please be aware of unexpected market movement which may result in high volatility, low liquidity and wider spread. In some cases, stop orders may be negatively slipped significantly due to extreme market condition. You are advised to closely monitor your account status, positions and ensure you have sufficient margin in the account to avoid unexpected forced liquidation.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is not available for download in the Apple App Store temporarily according to MT4 apps vendor MetaQuotes. This is not affecting the existing users of MT4 in iOS. However, for new MT4 users in iOS, please download desktop application of MT4 to trade. Android users remain unaffected and the app is still available in the Google Play Store. We will keep update the status on the Apple App Store.

Due to the ongoing conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, tensions increased in both countries and the forex market may be unstable. You are strongly advised to closely monitor your account status, positions and ensure you have enough margin in the account to avoid any unexpected forced liquidation.
Please be noted that below situations may happen:
- Spread may be widen and price distribution may be stopped
- Slippage may occur. In some cases, stop orders may be negatively slipped significantly due to extreme market condition.
- Swap points may fluctuate significantly
- Margin percentage may be increased temporarily
As market liquidity may be relatively low during Christmas and new year holiday, the spread may be widen. You are advised to closely monitor your account status, positions and ensure you have enough margin in the account to avoid unexpected forced liquidation.
With Christmas and New Year holidays approaching, our trading hours and client support service hours will be changed during the holidays.
Starting from 1st January 2022, if the trading account does not conduct any trading activities for 12 consecutive months, an annual administrative fee will be charged.
The Fee will be equal to the lesser of HKD 200 for accounts denominated in HKD (USD 25 for accounts denominated in USD) or the remaining balance in your account.
If you are assessed the Fee and Client’s account balance becomes zero (0) and maintains the zero (0) balance for six (6) consecutive months, your account will automatically be closed.
The rate distribution and trading activities on Rakuten FX has been fully recovered. We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience caused.

We will no longer support the updates for iSPEED FX on Android OS version 4, iOS 9 and iOS 10 devices from 21st September, 2021.
Clients who are using the devices with Android OS version 4, iOS 9 or iOS 10 can keep using the app but there will be no more updates for the app which is compatible with the Android OS or iOS version mentioned above. Besides, if the client deletes the app on the Android OS version 4, iOS 9 or iOS 10 devices, the app will not be able to be downloaded again.
We recommend affected clients to change your devices that support Android OS version 5/iOS 11 or above or update to the latest version of Android OS or iOS as soon as possible.

To ensure the security control for online trading services, Rakuten Securities Hong Kong has already implemented the two-factor authentication (2FA). Clients may choose to receive the one-time passcode (OTP) via SMS or use the Biometric method as the second factor authentication. For further details, please visit here.

1. Gross buy and sell amount of entry order and open positions of TRY/JPY will be up to 3 million
